The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs seeks to spread the thought, approach and practice of Islam. It also deals with the affairs and causes of Muslims regionally and globally. In its continuous quest to reflect the true image of Islam, to revive the treasures of Islamic heritage, to link the nation with its roots and to achieve a deep connection with its purpose, the Ministry organises a number of activities and events to advocate and to spread Islamic culture and its values throughout the world. The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs works on consolidating the values and principles of Islam, to achieve solidarity and social peace, and to establish a human brotherhood. It also seeks to regain the humanitarian role of the endowment in achieving sustainable development, as well social, health and cultural development, and to promote the Muslim community. The Ministry has a large interest in the Holy Book of Allah, and promotes it through education, study and encouraging correct recitation. It organises seminars and interpretation lessons in mosques and is working relentlessly to establish recitation centers in the different parts of the country, in order to produce qualified and well-respected reciters capable of participating in local and international competitions. It also works on delivering the Book of Allah to every Muslim by printing and publishing millions of free copies of different sizes. It is also working on translating the meaning of the Holy Qur'an into different languages to distribute them free of charge. Today, it is crowning its journey by copying and publishing a unique copy of the Holy Mus'haf that will be a source of pride for the State of Qatar and every Muslim wherever he may be.
